Dear colleagues,

The Czech Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine together with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai in New York, USA, are preparing the 3rd International Symposium: Perioperative Care for Seniors. This scientific event will take place in Prague, June 4 – 6 2015.

Aging of the population is one of the greatest challenges the health care is facing. Although the situation in many corners of the world might differ the delivery of appropriate medical care for the aging population would be a common denominator of our efforts. Experiencing success of the previous two Symposia on this topic we would like to make this one a truly global forum where ideas would be exchanged and own experience could be presented.

We would apprecciate if you could mark this meeting in your calendar of events and make the link www.anesthesiaforseniors2015.cz available on the website of your learned Society. Your members are cordially invited to come over to Prague and present their experience, views and ideas. Free papers would be presented as oral presentations and as posters – at the discretion of organisers. Together we can make this meeting a success and all would benefit it.
